Body Mass Index & Our Weight Loss Program

Dr. Burtman uses Body Mass Index (BMI) as one indicator in a rigorous evaluation process for determining elegibility for his weight loss program.

Those individuals with a BMI of 25 or less are likely not to be eligible for participation in this program, as it is intended for those people who are overweight. Please keep in mind that, while Dr. Burtman hates to turn down prospective clients, he will do so, if her feels that his program is not in the best interests of a particular individual. In light of this fact, as well as the high price of gas and the value of the prospective patient's time, individuals should probably not attend a semnar if they do not meet the above criterion.

Attending A New Location & Your Chart

If you plan to attend a follow-up session at a location other than the one where you originally enrolled in the program, you must notify us via e-mail, prior to the seminar, so that we can bring your chart to the appropriate location.

Registration Policy Updates

The RSVP Discount has been discontinued, effective immediately.
We still offer a $10.00 discount for those individuals who pre-pay*, through this website, with a debit or credit card. However, you must now do so before 5:00pm on the day of the seminar that you plan to attend. You may still pre-pay after 5:00pm, but your debit or credit card will be charged the full price for that visit.

*Those individuals without a debit/credit card can arrange for a friend, relative, or co-worker to pre-pay for them. The person whose debit/credit card is being used should enter their information, under "Billing Information", and the attendee's information, under "Shipping Information".

Proof of Payment

If you choose to pre-pay for a visit, you must print out the confirmation page that you reach at the completion of the pre-payment process and bring it with you to the seminar. Our staff will retain this copy for our records.
